1. Drink enough water

Dry mouth is the main cause of bad breath , It can be because you are travelling,sleeping and NOT DRINKING ENOUGH water.
Best to keep a bottle of water with you and keep sipping it every hour.

2. Brush and Floss properly

Of course keeping your teeth clean is necessary to tackle that bad breath.
Specially flossing is important to get rid of the food particles stuck in between your teeth which result in causing bad breath.
Rinse with an antibacterial mouthwash twice a day.
Dentures should be removed at night and cleaned thoroughly before being placed in your mouth the next morning.

3.Watch what you eat

If you're going out for lunch or dinner with friends,make sure not to have anything spicy or garlicky which would affect your breath.Fortunately, just as eating certain foods can cause your breath to be unpleasant, other foods can help mask bad breath — for a time.

Foods such as garlic,onion, milk products, caffeinated drink are found to alleviate bad breath issues. Have raw fruits or veggies,Celery, carrots, and cucumbers instead which help reduce bad breath.
If not this you might consider just popping in one mint leaf to tackle your bad breath in an instance!

Brush the entire top surface of the tongue using gentle pressure, and finish by rinsing with water.
