Because baking soda is a mildly abrasive substance, it removes surface stains from your teeth. It is only effective in removing plaque, tea, or coffee stains but not internal stains.

How to use it?

Use it consciously! Scrubbing your teeth vigorously with baking soda can cause damage to the tooth. It is advisable to brush your teeth with baking soda no more than a few times a week. And when you do use it to brush your teeth, don’t let it sit on your teeth for more than two minutes.

You must also remember!

"Everything in excess can be harmful."

Moreover, although baking soda can serve as a temporary remedy to oral-related issues, However, if your goal is to remove deeper, older stains, then baking soda will not be as effective. For that, You can consider professional teeth whitening done by your Dentist which is safer and more effective.
